How to Celebrate Rainbow Bridge Turning 100

In honor of Folsom's iconic Rainbow Bridge turning 100 years old, there will be events all throughout the city of Folsom for the community to come together and celebrate.
Saturday, May 4th

January 17th - March 1st
See the Rainbow Bridge Exhibit by the Folsom Arts Association at the Gallery at 48 Natoma.
The exhibit includes a variety of paintings, photographs, sculptures, and mixed media that highlights the iconic image of the bridge as interpreted by 38 artists.
Friday, March 1st
The Folsom Public Library presents "Rainbow Bridge:From Construction to Centennial" where guest speakers will give an overview of Rainbow Bridge and its rich history.
April - May
Check out the Folsom History Museum Rainbow Bridge Exhibit.
On May 4th, children will be able to participate in special activities at the museum's garden from 10am - 4pm

Enjoy historic walking tours of the Rainbow Bridge and the Historic District with the Folsom Historical Society.

Watch the Rainbow Bridge Design Contest! Students from four Folsom schools will build model structures of the Rainbow bridge and engineers from several local engineering firms will determine a winner by testing the structures load capacity.
